With the development of science and technology, mobile phones are more and more convenient for people to use. It also makes people more and more dependent on mobile phones to be needed. Everything has two sides. Some people think the utility of mobile phones is very bad for teenagers, while some people think mobile phones are very important in teenagers' life. This essay will evaluate these two ideas and give my opinion.
Mobile phone has complete functions and is convenient to use. It is a good tool for teenagers to learn. For example, when teenagers read English books, they see several words and sentences that they cannot understand. It may be possible to translate the meaning of a word using a book dictionary, but the translation takes longer. And sometimes even if you know the meaning of a word, you may not be able to understand the meaning of a sentence because the grammar is weak. This time mobile phone electronic dictionary, convenient and fast, not only clearly understand the meaning of words, sentences, but also understand the sentence grammar and science of additional vocabulary. In addition mobile phones can help teenagers learn when they come across words and sentences they don't understand.
However, although mobile phones can help students learn, it is also because they are fully functional. Mobile phone has not only the function of learning but also the function of relaxation and entertainment. When students lose control of themselves and become addicted to the entertainment function of mobile phones, it is very harmful to the healthy development of teenagers' body and mind.
All in all, in my opinion. Mobile phone is neutral existence, the use of mobile phone is beneficial or harmful mainly depends on how teenagers are using mobile phone. In the case of self-discipline, mobile phones are conducive to the development of teenagers' life.
