1. 凡是杀不死你的都会让你变得更强。（主语是什么？）

翻译：That things can not kill you will make you stronger.

答案：What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

解析：一直在考虑主语的选择，看了答案后恍然大悟，what 一词用的很妙。

2. 早起是一个好习惯。

翻译：Getting up early is a good habit.

答案：Getting up early is a good habit.

3. 别等了。在这等没用。

翻译：Don't wait any more. It's no use waiting here.

答案：Don’t wait any more. It’s no use waiting here.

4. 你现在必须做的就是努力学习英语。

翻译：Studying English hard is the thing that you need to do right now.

答案：What you have to do now is studying English hard.

解析：我用了动名词做主语来表示，答案用动名词做表语成分。这里的：你现在必须做的，和第一句：凡是那些杀不死你的，有异曲同工之处，都用what 来指代主语。

5. 我不喜欢我老婆/老公工作到很晚。

翻译：I don't like my wife/husband working very late.

答案：I don’t like my wife/ husband working so late.

解析：工作到很晚

6. 诚实是上策。（policy）

翻译：being honest is the best  policy.

答案：The best policy is being honest.

解析：上策 the best policy

我，动名词做主语，答案动名词做表语

7. 她很后悔为他付出这么多。

翻译：She regreted paying him so much.

答案：She regretted having done so much for him.

解析：regretted 写法要注意

时态要注意，后悔的是之前做的事。

8. 他太逗了，我憋不住乐。

翻译：He is funny, and I can't help laughing.

答案：He’s so funny that I can’t help laughing.

解析：我用了并列句，答案用了so…that 如此以至于…

9. 我是怕你喝太多酒。

翻译：I worry  about/am afraid  your drinking too much.

答案：I’m afraid of your/ you drinking too much.

解析：be afraid of 结构使用时有误

10. 你介不介意我在这抽烟？

翻译：Do you mind my smoking here?

答案：

1. Would you mind my/me smoking here?

2. Would you mind if I smoke here?

解析：Would 词更好，能表达请求的意思。

心得：

动名词的用法说简单很简单，因为做名词成分。说难，跟上时态，语态就变复杂了。但是，总得来说还是好理解的，之前对动名词的复合结构不是很确定，一直不敢用，现在愿意试着去使用。相信多多使用，英语学习才更扎实。
