Software Developer - Java/Web
Responsibilities:
- Technical conception and implementation of new product features, with focus on Web-UI Development
- Unit and integration testing (JUnit)
- Maintenance of existing product components
- Carrying out POCs to demonstrate the relevance of the technical choices
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience with Java/JEE development and minimum of 1 year experience in GWT based WEB UI Development.
- Good HTML, JavaScript and Web Portlet development
- Good understanding of XML, XSLT and XML Schema
- Good understanding of SOAP and REST based services
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work within a local and distributed international team environment.
- Experience/comfortable working in Open Source Software Development projects
Optional, but desirable
- Experience with Monitoring protocols, most important JMX.
- Experience in development of application integration/SOA middleware solutions

- Technical conception and implementation of new product features, with focus on the ESB Services and communication runtime application integration components
- Providing support to the junior team members
- Maintenance of existing product components
- Unit and integration testing (JUnit)
- Carrying out POCs to demonstrate the relevance of the technical choices
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience with Java/JEE development
- Good understanding of SOAP and related WS-* Protocols (e.g. WS-Addressing, WS-Security, WS-Trust, WS-Policy)
- Good understanding of XML, XSLT and XML Schema
- Experience in development of server side code ideally based on OSGi (Equinox/Felix) and or Servlets (Apache Tomcat)
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work within a local and distributed international team environment.
- Experience/comfortable working in Open Source Software Development projects
Optional, but desirable
- Experience with messaging oriented middleware (e.g. Active Active MQ )
- Experience in development of application integration/SOA middleware
(Based in Beijing, R&D Dept,
* Design, write and update a variety of technical materials such as administration, user manuals, installation and reference guides. This includes the creation of text and graphics in Structured FrameMaker, produce pdf and html files
* Interview developers and chase information from cross-functional teams (Development, QA, Support or Tech Writing teams based either in France or in China) to ensure technical accuracy in the manuals.
* Work extensively on the product to gain an understanding of the technical details and functionality.
* Write clear and concise descriptions of features, processes and procedures.
* Write for both internal and external audiences.
* Proofread/Edit texts written by other team members.
Qualification:
* 2-3+ years of working experience as a technical writer.
* Degree (BA, MA) in Technical Writing, English, or a technical discipline
* English mother tongue or excellent written and verbal skills in English.
* Strong interpersonal and communications required
* Adobe FrameMaker required.
* Able to work in fast pace environment solely or as part of a team.
* Autonomous, resourceful and quick learner
* Webworks or HTML/XML experience, a plus
* Experience in writing for IT fields, in particular data integration, data quality and/or master data management fields, a plus

- Familiar with Data Integration, Data Quality & Master Data Management principles would be a plus
Tech skills:
Must have:
- Java EE (not only SE), including EJBs, Web Services, JMS…
- XML/XSD/XPath/XSLT – all XML-related standards
- Web interfaces (HTML, JS, CSS…)
Nice to have:
- XML databases & XQuery
- Eclipse RCP
Job description:
As part of the R&D group, the Senior Developer will be responsible for developing, integrating and optimizing the functional bricks/blocks of our data integration application to improve the platform's quality and functionality.

Senior Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in IT and/or engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience with Java/JEE development experience
- Demonstrated abilities (minimum 1 year) with Eclipse RCP/Plugin and in-depth knowledge of SWT/JFace, GEF, EMF GMF, WTP technologies.
- English CET 4. Good level (read/write & speak) is required.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
