Delphi7无法启动解决

Borland License information was found but is Invalid for Delphi ???

Hi all

" Borland License information was found but is Invalid for Delphi...  you
cannot run delphi..."

Has anyone fixed this without reinstalling the software.

Of course I have a valid license on my name.

I have not seen that error for a long time so do not shoot me if I am wrong about the fix.

This used to happen when you attempted to open more then one copy of the IDE at the exact
same time and both copies attempted to update the files in the "C:/documents and
Settings/.borland" folder and ended up corrupting one or more the file(s). 

What you need to do is (backup first) and then delete the files in the ".borland" folder
so Delphi will recreate them the next time you run the IDE. 

NOTE: be sure to not delete your REGxxxx.TXT file that you got when you registered Delphi
online as it will be reused when you go into the offline register routine.

I couldnt find the directory you specify,  the borland directory  at Program
Files does not have any files,  just directories,   shall I look somewhere
else?

Look inside your home directory (e.g. C:/Document and Settings/<username>),
not under the Program Files directory.
