arraycfg
# Configures array settings.
arraycfg  -L  <LUN>  -a  <capacity>  <array-id>
arraycfg  -L  <LUN>  -r  <newLUN>  <array-id>
arraycfg  -D  <slot>  -a  <array-id>
<LUN> logical unit number for a logical disk (0 – 7)
<slot> cabinet slot number (A1-A6, B1-B6)
-a specifies the size for a new LUN (MB)
-D used to manually add a new disk
-L specifies a LUN to configure
-r renumbers a specific LUN

 

arraydsp
# Displays settings of an array
arraydsp  <array-id>
none no options displays general settings
-a all info ( same as –l, -d, -c, -s, -v, -h options)
-c displays controller status
-d displays disk status
-h displays hardware status
-i displays the serial number of all arrays
-l  <LUN> specifies a specific LUN for info display
-m displays performance metrics
-R rescan for all arrays
-r make performance reccomendations
-S generate raw output (used with other options)
-s displays general info
-v verbose ouput

-a sets Auto Rebuild feature
-h sets Active Spare feature

-p sets Rebuild Priority feature

arraybld
-r used to manually rebuild an array
-P used to set the rebuild priority for a manual rebuild

/etc/hpC2400/arraymon.dest
Configuration file which determines the destination of array error messages. This file can be edited to change the destination of these messages. By default, messages are routed to the console and are also emailed to the root user.

Variables


array-id
This variable is used to identify the disk array. It can be set to the array serial number, the raw device file name of any LUN on the array, or an alias text string assigned to the array with the arraymgr command.
LUN
This variable identifies a specific logical disk (LUN) on an array.
