Responsibilities:
*Play the role of project leader to lead small-scale projects to implement new features and requirements from marketing.
Fully understand and analyze the marketing requirements from customers and product managers
Deliver engineering requirements and software design document
Deliver project schedule and then execute the project.

*The candidate should have exposure to/interest in visual design/layout/information architecture, rapid prototyping. Emphasis is placed on usability factors of UI design and quality of code.
Diagnose and correct product defects

Mandatory Requirements:
*A BS or MS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science is required with a minimum of 3 years of related/applicable experience.
*Be strong in JAVA SWING, Object Oriented Design and UI development.
*Be familiar with XML.
*Knowledge of popular packages such as log4j, dom4j, JAXB etc. Experience in JAVA IDE, Source Code Management.
*Working knowledge of common network protocols.
*Strong problem solving ability.
*Good time management ability.
*Good English communication ability, both in written and spoken. Proficient in reading English technical documents, such as protocol spec and design documents. Proficient in writing technical materials (emails & documents…) in English.

Job Title: Senior STC C++/C# Developer Engineer STC C++/C#高级研发工程师
Location: Beijing, China
Major Responsibilities:
1. Understanding the marketing requirement reflecting with STC, and draft corresponding feature’s specification
2. Write the high level and low level design documentation for STC features, and identify the possible changes required by application software.
3. Experience in networking techniques like IPv4/6, TCP, and ACE. Especially, the candidate MUST be familiar with network architecture, routing protocols
4. Lead the team on coding and unit testing, Lead the team members on code review, and make sure the feature can be delivered with quality on time.
5. Deliver project related training to team member; help them to do design review and code review.
6. Support internal and external customer on STC Testing and answer the customer questions.
7. Help team member to do design review and code review, organize technical training periodically and help the whole team to promote the technical expertise.
8. Support PV to do TOI as well as consultant for the features taken charged, make sure efficient interaction with PV team and further make sure the feature could be released with required QA data.
Skills:
1. At least 6 years of software development experience in the telecommunications and/or application development industry using C/C++.
3. In-depth understanding and hands on experience on TCP/IP network programming, as well as operation system.
4. C# programming experience is preferred.
5. Structured design process including planning, design documentation, structured reviews, code version control systems, unit testing, integration testing, problem tracking and resolution.
6. Extensive use of software development tools including development environment tools (E.g. MS Visual Studio), unit level debug tools (UUnit), Software version management databases (E.g., Perforce, ClearCase, etc.) and Bug tracking systems (E.g. Siebel, Bugzilla, etc.)
7. Excellent English in both written and oral

*Define test solution for wireless core network, including requirements analysis and high level design. Analyze wireless standards from 3GPP, 3GPP2 and other technical forums Fully understand the requirements from customers and product managers
*Implement the test solution using C/C++ on Linux platform. Troubleshoot complex technical problems which involve software and hardware systems.
*Execute unit test and integration test of the implemented solution
*Create technical design documents, and source material for user documentation
Mandatory Requirements:
*A BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering is required with a minimum of 3 years of related/applicable experience.
*Excellent C/C++ coding skills
*Knowledge of wireless core network packet protocols (CDMA / UMTS / WiMax / LTE)
