Position Description
· The Manager, Digital is required to identify and manage opportunities and projects for executing NBA content delivery crossing digital media partner platforms in mainland China. The position will work with the appropriate stakeholders (internal and external) to execute, launch and manage NBA video content. The role encompasses ownership of the full video product cycle.
Major Responsibilities
· Understand marketplace trends past and present as well as new technologies and competitive forces, and assess their impact on NBA's business
· Oversee and drive video content delivery to China digital media audiences, work with internal stakeholders (U.S. HQ and China) to ensure such video content is compliant with global and China market standards
· Work directly with internal (Engineering and Product/Content teams) and external partners to manage and ensure content delivery on schedule with expected quality
· Define and manage video content value proposition, technical infrastructure, specs, features, version management and ensure the content and service are compelling to the market
· Ensure content delivery is seamlessly integrated with partners across content distribution networks
Required Experience & Knowledge
· A minimum of 5 years video content or video transmission management experience, preferably be in a related digital industry (mobile, IT, telecom, internet, online video streaming)
· Proven track record of product, service, project and partnership management
· Ability to manage multiple projects, set timelines and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
· Ability to gather and analyze data from a variety of sources, draw conclusions and act on findings
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup and function well in a matrix environment

Position Description
· This position will support NBA China Digital Business to define social media strategy, develop and implement digital initiatives to drive user and audience growth, as well as promote the NBA brand, games, events and marketing partners on key social media platforms in China.
Major Responsibilities
· Develop short- and long-term strategy, provide content recommendations, monitor operation and manage data reporting and performance analysis for all NBA China social media accounts
· Provide insight and support to organization campaigns from social media perspective; work with internal and external parties to ensure effective and efficient execution of projects.
· Work closely with internal BUs to identify their promotional needs and define requirements on digital and social media platforms. Assist in developing promotion plans and timelines.
· Analyze digital performance results and summarize key findings.
· Daily communications with the NBA China social media editorial team on content and campaign promotions.
· Manage vendors on various projects.
· Stay up to date with digital and social media trends, strategies and platforms.
Required Experience & Knowledge
· Fluency in English and Mandarin (both speaking & writing)
· Strong Project management, data analysis, and creative skills
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
ExperIience Needed
· At least 3+ years' experience in social media/digital marketing
· Experience on Sports, Basketball strongly preferred
· Experience in developing strategy and executing campaigns on all major social media platforms in China

Position Description
· The Specialist of Content Development will manage content created by NBA China editors and/or delivered by NBA League & Teams, and optimize for all NBA China's digital products across multiple platforms. The candidate will work closely with our partners and the content/product teams in the U.S.
Major Responsibilities
· Support day-to-day and special feature content operations across all digital platforms, including the NBA official site in China, the NBA app, NBA social media accounts, partner sites, and future others.
· Lead communications between China and US (League & 30 Teams) around daily content plan, delivery, distribution & management.
· Monitor content updates on the NBA official site in China and all social platforms created and/or posted by U.S. & NBA China editors.
· Analyze digital performance results and summarize key findings.
· Work with stakeholders in analyzing content and develop actionable metrics
Required Experience & Knowledge
· 3+ years in media industry in Sports Journalism, basketball experience highly preferred.
· Proven experience in digital media operations.
· Enthusiastic about sports entertainment industry and the NBA assets and properties.
· Positive and energetic personality.
· Strong editorial judgment and developing content.
· Ability to manage the planning and implementation of multiple digital campaigns (online and offline events).
· Ability to manage third parties, set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
· Must be highly motivated, proactive, self-starter with high energy and team spirit.
· Fluency in English and Mandarin.
· Strong knowledge and enthusiast of NBA and basketball.
Educational Background Required
· Bachelor degree from a top university with strong academic credentials.
· Preferred fields of study: Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or Communication.
